Doctors' lane is one of the biggest lane in Saddar Bazzar Hyderabad Sindh.
In old days Doctor’s lane was named as Saddar Bazzar because of it hold was in army hand and cantonment hand now days its called Doctor’s line. The starting of this lane is more than 35 years old before the starting of this line there was no clinic there were many residence, in this line the old plaza is Jahan Plaza in this lane. The old people of this line is used to set chair outside of their residence and Plaza for enjoying weather and air and play a card games.

This lane is also divided in Sindhi people and Mohajir people that time to extent the warning authentic group even they have different problem, after some time Sindhi people and Mohajir people have solved their problem.

In old period there were only few Doctor named as Dr. Parwaiz Iqbal for skin specialist, Dr. IS Jaferi ENT specialist, Dr. Almani a general physician and Dr. Syed Ahmed Khan for eyes specialist, they are oldest Doctor in Doctor’s line.

Some Doctor came from Hirabad and slowly and gradually make their clinic in this lane also started a medical stores. But Doctor came in this line then so many people started their business. Like general store and much more


The people of this lane increase their property value and now the value of properties is being increased of this line.




When Doctor’s lane started first medical store is Hussain Medical Store which was built by Ashique Hussain Fakkri and now his Sons of Sons are taking care of that store.

In 1902 Adamjee & Valeejee were the first medical suppliers to doctors due to some loss they shutdown in 1918 and started weapon and power tools now shuttled in Bohra Bazar. There are now so many clinic as well as medical stores in doctor lines. The quality of a doctor in doctor’s lines is that whoever shifted to this lane is a very good and experienced one but if a new polished doctor gets a chance is automatically polished by other superior doctors and gets a chance to work with them. So many doctors are appointed for U.S.A and other foreign medical trip due to their work experience each year. One of the oldest doctor Dr. Almani a General Physician in P.M.A House Saddar Doctors’ lane is one of the greatest and oldest of all time mostly every doctor in Doctors’ lane was for one time his student. He was served and still serving for more than 50 years.

Doctors from LUMHS, DOW, INDUS Medical College, Agha Khan, Nawabshah Medical College, and more, everyone 1st priority is to come a work in doctor’s line. In this line there are audiologists, Allergists, Anthologists, Cardiologist, Cardio Vascular Surgeon, Pathologist and all kind of specialists as skin specialist, bones specialists, Eye Specialist, Dentists heart specialist, sexologist and kind of specialists you name them you got it.

Tariq X-Ray is the oldest X-Ray shop in Doctor Line, Sindh Homeopathic is oldest Homeopathic Clinic in Doctor Line.

As doctors increased in the lane more patients came and  medical stoes opened more and more now there are 41 medical stores and 18 optical stores in doctor’s line, Hyderi Medical, Sun Rose Medical, Makkah Medical, Tawakal Medical, Muslim Medical and Hussain Medical are some of the oldest as well as famous medical stores in this lane. There was Hamid Laboratory where it old branch was in Hirabad Hyderabad Sindh.

In the same footing others Lab started opening the as Agha Khan, LUMHS, Time, ISRA, Dow and many others Laboratories which started growing and now the lines is now fully operative doctor’s line.


The problem of parking space around the doctor lines is due to reserved for doctors and male and female nurses know as pharmacists makes very small may to pass on and due to over parking there is hard to move and at the peak hours of 5 PM to 8 PM doctor line is all lighted up a in a difficult to even move. But the security is very good in managing the traffic and make it move. 
After all the doctors in Doctors lane are highly qualified as well as experienced that is why patients from all over Sindh as well as Pakistan once in a life is worth to visit for whole body checkup. Doctor’s line one of the largest lane of doctors in Pakistan.

Doctor Line is one of the oldest line of doctors in Pakistan. The doctor line emerged from soldier bazaar that is now known as Bohra Bazar. Doctor line’s area is recognized for clinics and laborites.

First in doctor line some doctors built few clinics then laboratories and Few medical stores.

          Hyderi medical and general store is the oldest shop in doctor line since 1853. The doctors take their experience From LUMHS and Foreign University they have taken their experience and so many doctors have done MBBS from LUMHS and these doctors give the nice experision to their patient and take the low fees.

          As doctor are here since 1850 this line belongs to doctors.

          In the doctor line there are old medical are garrision medical store, such Rose medical Store, Hyderi medical store, Makkah Medical store, Tawaqal medical store, and Muslim medical store.

          Nowadays in doctor line labels that are profoundly misleading. Some captions are designed in such way that they successfully deceive and delude as without the manufactures getting into trouble. These captions are more or less just a marketing strategy. These health captions mainly appeal to the health conscience youth. This lack in knowledge can be disastrous in a case where “no sugar added” product can be assumed safe for consumption for a diabetic patient or a “Zero trans – fat” product is consumed by a heart patient. The only sufficient solution is that public awareness should be countries to mention all the precautions of consumption on the product.

          In doctor line the doctors are of different types and their specialties. In doctor line we get doctor for heart problems, ENT problems for bone problems, muscle problems. Skin specialist doctors in doctor line is Dr. Dharm Dhev Rathi and Parwiz Iqbal since 1854. Dentists doctor is Dr. Tasneem done B.D.S from LUMHS, eyes doctor in Quaid-e-Azam plaza is Dr. Sameen Afzal. In doctor line there are also medical professional is Audiologist, Allergist, Andrologist, Eardiologist, Cardiovascular Surgeon, Dermatologist, Family Paratitioner, Plastic surgeon, Pathalogist and also an emergency room.

Pakistan Health care providers usually prescribe antibiotic to treat this diseas. The symptoms of pneumocaccal pheumonia usually go away within 12 to 36 hours after you start taking medicine. But resistance by bacteria to common and otherwise beneficial antibiotics is growing in Pakistan as in other parts of the world making treatment more difficult. The good news is this the government has agreed to include this vaccinul in their EPI schedule. So protect your child with and wasting time.

The encroachment  problem has also given birth to yet another bigger problem that is, the shortage of parking space around the doctor line. The parking area, that was reserved for the parking of vehicles, is illegally taken over by different such carts which frequently causes traffic jam in the doctor lime.

We walked into doctor line scared of the rush, the ambiguity and the magnitude of the possible troubles, and walked out confident and fears wisped out. After all, there’s not all bad in the doctor line and that un pleasant stench still fails to mask the good. Doctor line has to offer.
